Zigg is Shy

Zigg: 9 months. This rat is a LONE rat. If you are looking to adopt just ONE rat this is the most ethical solution because he does not tolerate other rats.
When paired with a young juvenile rat he broke his foot, this suggests that his dislike for other rats (at least male ones) is not hormonal but psychological.
Zigg is fine with people though.
As of now he spends his life alone because of the high volume of rats, he desperately needs a new family to care for him.
Don't be shy to share this as much as possible, in your journals, clubs, whatever. The more exposure this gets the better chance the rat will find a home!

You can adopt rats rescued from hoarding.
These rats are PEW and have been worked with to be socialized companions.
If you are in the UNITED STATES we can fly a pair of rats to you, it does not matter where you are in the u.s
Adoption fees are 15 dollars per rat. Most rats must go in pairs. The fee to travel out of county is a highly discounted 20 dollars.
So for example, if you do not live in Forida, and you want one rat, that is 15 dollars plus 20 dollars for them to be escorted on plane to you.
